Milspec Manufacturing was very proud to win two awards in the recent Albury Wodonga Chamber Awards: Excellence in Manufacturing and Contribution to the Community.

In ten years of business, we have tripled our employee numbers, growing from a small family business to a professional, globally competitive organisation.

These awards are an affirmation of the absolute commitment and dedication to excellence we receive from all of our staff.

Milspec Manufacturing Pty Ltd is a precision engineering company engaged in the contract manufacture of industrial, commercial and military products.

Our customers include a variety of government departments, rail, utilities, telecommunications and infrastructure organisations as well as many Australian and international defence agencies.

We work in close partnership with our customers to ensure that we provide not only a quality product but a quality service.

At Milspec we offer our clients a range of turn key solutions, from the inception of an idea, its research and development, proto-typing, production support and post production analysis. Located in Albury/Wodonga, one of Australia’s largest inland centres, Milspec has easy access to all Australian capital cities, international and domestic freighting facilities.

In May 2010 Milspec, after more than a year of training and stringent auditing, achieved the aerospace quality accreditation AS9100 and became one of the elite group of Australian companies which can offer exceptional quality precision engineering work with ultimate traceability.

Our Quality Assurance Manager Chris Lyon started the process for us in November 2008 and since then Milspec has implemented documentation and manufacturing processes designed to satisfy our industry’s ultimate demands for product integrity and traceability.

The AS9100 accreditation, together with the ISO9001 standard already in place, means Milspec is well placed to capitalize on global niche design and manufacturing opportunities.
